Discovery Space Center

Students from Santaquin 6th grade were able to travel "to new frontiers" as part of their space center experience on Thursday, April 25.

The new Discovery Space Center had a blow up dome planetarium for the students to do some star-gazing without having to stay up all night.

A lesson was given to the students on light, sound, and outer space.

The highlight of the experience was the chance to have a "simulated" flight experience and learn the value of team work.

Santaquin 6th Grade Students enjoyed a day at the Payson High School Track as they participated in the annual Hershey Track Meet.  Our students competed in several running events and well as field events such as softball throw and the long jump.

The weather was a little bit cold, but perfect weather for running!

Congratulations to our athletes.

PTA members spent Friday after school decorating classroom doors so the school will be ready for "Teacher Appreciation Week".   Teachers and students will be delighted with the new 'decor'!!!   Santaquin PTA members are very clever and we can't wait to see it all put together.

Congratulations Graduates!
