Zoo Day!

Submitted by misty.rindlisbacher on

Second grade was lucky to have Hogle Zoo come and teach them about habitats and making observations.

They also drew our own zoo and measured how tall their animals were! It was such a fun experience!

Gotta Measure Them All!

Submitted by misty.rindlisbacher on

Miss Nielsen's class had the best time learning about measurement, comparing, and graphing. The first graders had their very own Pokédexes that they used to record data for Professor Oak. They had to move around the room to different Pokémon types and measure each Pokémon three different ways. Wind blew with the flying types, water sprayed with water types, and poisonous bubbles surrounded them with the poison types. They even got to go to the Battle Arena to test their Pokémon measurement skills! These students have discovered just how fun math can be!
