The coat rack by the lunch room is filling up with coats, jackets, gloves and hats.  If you notice a clothing item that belongs in your home, you are welcome to come pick it up.

The Intervention Specialists at Santaquin Elementary are trained in the University of Utah Reading Clinic programs, as well as Nebo Plus.  They are able to help basic readers, as well as struggling older readers, with fluency and word recognition through a consistent one-on-one tutoring program or through a group of three or four student tutoring.  With the help of teacher, guardians, and the intervention program, there has been a continuous improvement with the students reading on-grade level.

Miss Camper's and Mrs. Tucker's class made paint ornaments for a Senior Citizen Center to help their Christmas be a little brighter.

All of the 3rd grade gathered in Mrs. Smith's room to wish her a happy birthday.  She was pleasantly surprised.  Happy Birthday!

Grandma Epperson works hard all year making quilts for each child in Mrs. Garcia's kindergarten class.  In December she brings the quilts, wrapped, and gives them to each child, and watches as they unwrap her gift, and then wrap their new quilt snuggly around them.

We truly love Grandma Epperson and are so appreciative for her love and kindness. 

Family members were delighted as they were entertained by the Kindergarten Christmas choir.  The children sang many carols including "Must Be Santa", "I'm Gettin' Nothin' for Christmas", "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer", and "We Wish You a Merry Christmas".

Santa visits all of the Kindergarten children after their Polar Express party.

Not only did the kids in 2nd grade get to make gingerbread houses, they also received a visit from Santa Claus!
