School Lunch/Free or Reduced-Price Application Directions

Submitted by misty.rindlisbacher on

The National School Lunch Program waiver that provided free meals to students has expired.  This means school meals will no longer be automatically free.  A Meal Benefits Application must be submitted in order to qualify for free or reduced-price meals for the 2022-2023 school year.  Qualification is based on factors including household size, income, participation in assistance programs such as SNAP, FDPIR, and TANF, as well as living situations such as homelessness and migrancy.

You may access an application by going to your Infinite Campus Menu, scrolling down to MORE, and clicking on Meal Benefits.  Step-by-step directions are attached to this post.  Any application signed before July 12th does not pertain to the 22-23 school year.  Households must apply every year to confirm eligibility for free or reduced-price meals.

If you do not qualify for free or reduced-price meals, school meals are available for Elementary students as follows:
Breakfast - $1.50     Lunch - $2.00

---------------------

Primaria Desayuno - $ 1.50 Almuerzo - $ 2.00

Mrs. Hermansen - we love our amazing PE Teacher!
Mr. Richins getting slimed by Mrs. Vernon

We had an amazing assembly to celebrate the end of the year!  During our assembly, we celebrated Mrs. Wright and Mrs. Hogan's retirement.   We honored all of our teachers and staff members who won't be coming back to our school next year.  We got to congratulate our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders who placed at the track meet, and then we had some school-wide milestones to celebrate:

** Our students read 1,643 HOURS during book fair week!!  Because they did such an amazing job, Mr. Richins had to kiss a pig!  Actually, he kissed TWO pigs!  The students have been talking about the pigs for months, they were just so excited!  We want to send a huge ~THANK YOU~ to Payson High School FFA and Mr. Rindlisbacher for bringing the piggies to our school!

** Our students met and exceeded the goal for our Fun Run with OVER 1,000 LAPS! The rewards for our students doing such a great job on the Fun Run were 1) Mrs. Hermansen got duct taped to the wall! and 2) Mr. Richins got slimed!  You should have heard the cheers!

We also want to thank our amazing PTA for arranging so many fun activities and rewards for our kids to enjoy!

We have such an amazing group of students here at Santaquin Elementary and it was so much fun to celebrate all of their accomplishments!  Great job, kiddos!!
