Mr. Kern dressed up as Alfalfa from "Little Rascals".  Try to find him in the Halloween photos.

Halloween was a great ending to Red Ribbon week as the students came dressed in a variety of costumes.

Thanks to all the parent helpers who prepared fabulous class parties.

Remember to "SPOOK OUT DRUGS".

Red Ribbon week started Monday for the students and faculty at Santaquin Elementary.  The students and teachers signed a banner that said, "Boo to Drugs, Stay Drug Free".

Each day the students and faculty showed their support towards Red Ribbon Week by dressing up according to the daily themes which were as follows:

  1. Monday wear red and be "REDY" for Red Ribbon Week.
  2. Tuesday wear your shirt backwards and turn your back on drugs.
  3. Wednesday wear cameo or sports attire to be strong and team up against drugs.
  4. Thursday wear a hat for "HATS" off to drugs.
  5. Friday wear a Halloween costume and spook away drugs!

Each month the 5th grade will be issuing a health challenge to all of the students and faculty at Santaquin Elementary.

October's health challenge was to get outside and exercise.  At the beginning of October, the school gathered together outside for a 1-mile run.  Mr.  Argyle, Mr. Kern, and many other teachers supported the students as they ran with them to the finish line.
