Our Halloween Parade will be on Monday, October 31st at 1:15 PM. The parade route takes our students around the outside perimeter of the school, and parents are invited!

Our first graders had a fabulous time at Rowley's Red Barn! Tractor wagons arrived at the school to take our students to the back forty of Rowley's orchards. Our students learned about the history of Rowley's four generations of farming and got to see videos of the tools and machinery used to keep an orchard up and running. Our first graders then got to play and explore. It was a beautiful fall day! We ended our field trip with a wagon ride back to school and delicious apple cider donuts! Thank you to Rowley's Red Barn for a fun filled afternoon!

Our PTA had a Reflections party on Friday, October 21st.  Santaquin Elementary had 119 entries!  The theme was "Show Your Voice."  29 of our students won the Award of Excellence and moved on to Council to compete again against kids from other local elementary schools.  Great job, Chieftains!

Mrs. Tye's 4th Graders are starting their fossil unit, and what better way to start it off than by doing their own excavation! Students were paleontologists as they used their excavation tools to search for and clean off their dinosaur "fossils."

Our 3rd Graders were invited to a Book Cafe where they got to taste lots of different kinds of books. Mrs. Rindy had some lucky readers join her for “Lunch in the Library.”  Any students that read a book in September were entered into a drawing, and the lucky winners got to eat in the library and play corn hole with the librarian herself. 3rd Grade did a super fun activity - a "Cause & Effect Halloween Scavenger Hunt"! Students worked together to complete the hunt and earn their well deserved prize!
