Third Grade students were asked to decorate the tree at Zions Bank. They learned about how snowflakes are formed. Snow crystals come in many different shapes because of the rate they fall, how much moisture is in the air, and the temperature. Students made hundreds of snowflakes. They cut different shapes, folded origami snowflakes, and grew Borax crystal snowflakes on pipe cleaner shapes. You can see their display called “Let it Snow” in the lobby of Zions Bank at 100 East Main Street in Santaquin!

Our 3rd grade students also worked hard to tie edges of blankets for Project Linus, a service project Miss Call arranged.   They have been busy spreading holiday cheer!
