4th Grade Puppet Show

Submitted by misty.rindlisbacher on

4th graders from Mrs. Zaugg’s class visited Mrs. McMullin’s first graders to put on some plays! The plays were all about native Utah animals, their characteristics and habitats! Our class was so excited because we are starting our own animal reports! The first graders were so impressed with all the research and detail put into the plays and backdrops. Thank you for teaching and inspiring us 4th grade!

5th Grade

Submitted by misty.rindlisbacher on

Fifth Grade had the wonderful opportunity to tour the Utah State Capitol. We met the senator for our area. His name is Doug Welton. We learned what the senators were discussing and voting on. We also learned that the marble on the stairs and floor was shipped in from Georgia. However, the marble in the courtroom is from Utah and called Birdseye Marble.  They only use that room one day of the year, otherwise court is held at the Matheson Courthouse. You can take your family and tour the Capitol anytime that it is open and we highly recommend it.
