The PTA at Santaquin Elementary provided the pastries and milk for parents and students. They came to school early in the morning to eat and read together. Thank you PTA!!!
Kindergarten students at Santaquin Elementary School created a polar express train car and paraded through the school. This is a yearly tradition where parents and students work together to create the most original car.
Officer Johnson conducted the graduation proceedings for the 5th graders at Santaquin Elementary. All graduates wrote an essay explaining their commitment to stay drug and violence free. The three top essays, one from each class, were chosen to be read at the graduation. Essays written by Edna Garcia, Maddie Mtichell and Chelsey Davis were the top essay winners. Justus Jensen, Gavin Zeeman, and Nicola Mortensen were the top dare students. Congratulations!!!
One student from every class won the opportunity to decorate gingerbread houses with Mr. Argyle. This was a reward for reading every day. The gingerbread houses were put on display for students and parents to view!
Many students were rewarded for their efforts with reading during the It Pays To Read assembly at Santaquin Elementary. Viridiana Sandoval and Chastin Allred won bikes!! Dakota Davis won a complete Thanksgiving dinner. Many students won money and prizes. Congratulations to all the winners. KEEP READING EVERY DAY!!
