Once again the students piled into the gymnasium to see if it was their lucky day to win a bike.  I'm sure the City office could hear the excitement!  Even though there are only two bike winners per assembly, many other prizes were given away.

During the Kindergarten to Third grade assembly, 57 students won books, free passes to Classic Skating or Hang Time, or other prizes. The bike winner was MaKylah Gracie!

In the Fourth to Sixth grade assembly, 68 students won books, free passes to Classic Skating or Hang Time, or other prizes.  The bike winner for this assembly was Aubry Hinckley!

During this assembly Mr. Argyle tried an experiment.  He called five winners to the front of the assembly and asked them to stand together and face their classmates before they could pick thier prize.  Then he asked the other students to cheer really loud for them.  The facial expression on each student changed from somber or embarrassed, to a SMILE.  It just goes to show what happens when we cheer for each other.

Good job to everyone who read!  Keep it up.
