Nebo School District will offer a virtual Parenting the Love and Logic Way Workshop

Where: Online: via Zoom
Dates: Tuesdays, October 3rd, 10th & 17th (all three for the full course)
Time: 6:00-7:30 pm
Cost: provided Free by Nebo School District.

Manuals are $12 each and can be purchased with card, cash or check made out to Nebo
School District. They are available at the Nebo School District Office in Student Services
(top floor, south entrance)

This class will be capped at 50 participants. To sign up; email aubree.judkins [at] nebo.edu with your:
● Name
● Email (this is where the Zoom link will be sent for the class)
● The Nebo District school your student(s) attends
The meeting ID and password will be emailed to you a few days before the class begins.

Ms. Carter has been teaching at Santaquin for 27 years! She attended the old school that is now the Chieftain Museum. She is the mother of 2 awesome kids, and Gram to 3 super awesome Grandkids. They all keep her busy and she enjoys spending time with them & watching them play ball. She also likes to embroider. sew, travel and relax. Ms. Carter is our computer teacher and her laugh is contagious!

Miss Vázquez’s and Mrs. Zaugg’s classes brought thank you letters to the office!  We have thoughtful teachers and students. The office staff loved reading their kind letters and getting to visit with these fun first graders!

Miss Jacklin is the youngest of five and loves her family very much! She loves baking, riding horses, spending time with her family and doing anything crafty.  She is our Heggerty Reading Specialist, our summer office worker, and is always willing to do anything to help the staff and students at our school.  We love her!

Today is the first day of Kindergarten! 

All Day Kindergarten: 9:15 am - 3:30 pm

AM Kindergarten: 9:15 am - 11:50 am

PM Kindergarten: 12:55 pm - 3:30 pm 

When we got to school on the second day of the year, the power was out!  It was a pretty crazy day, but so many parents, teachers, administrators, PTA members, electricians, and businesses worked together to make the day successful.   The teachers taught, entertained, and encouraged their students all day, and the students endured with positive attitudes.

Miss Dooley's class decided to learn “underwater” with battery powered lights in their classroom.   They celebrated at the end of the day by having some Swedish fish and a dance party under the sea.

We are inspired by the way all of our students and staff members reacted to these circumstances and grateful for the help from so many people (and grateful to Rocky Mountain Power for fixing the problem as quickly as they did!), but what a fun memory for our students - the day the power was out at school.

Our 1st Graders are having so much fun already!  They practiced using scissors by making "Scissor Salads," and they enjoyed their first Fun Friday with chalk out on the playground!
