Congratulations to our 6th grade teacher, Mr. Griffith, for recieving Santaquin Elementary's Teacher of the Year! Each year, the teachers at Santaquin Elementary nominate and vote on which of their fellow teachers has gone above and beyond inside and outside of the classroom. Mr. Griffith is an awesome teacher and we are so lucky to have him here at Santaquin!

Since 1986, Kids Who Count has provided Early Intervention services to families of young children residing in the Nebo School District boundaries. We’ve helped thousands of families and children and we can help you. If you are concerned about your baby or toddler’s development or had a medical professional talk to you about some milestones your child hasn’t yet reached, you may be eligible for early intervention services. The purpose of Early Intervention is to enhance early growth and development in infants and toddlers under three, who have developmental delays or disabilities. Anyone can make a referral to receive a full assessment of your child’s health and developmental status at no cost. If you’re concerned about your infant or toddler, don’t hesitate to contact us. Mrs. Ripplinger's class got their 100th new word on their word wall, so they had a STEM party! They used dried spaghetti noodles and marshmallows to build the tallest, coolest tower! 

This month in the library, our focus has been on STEM.  Each week, we have read STEM books and had lessons on things like imagination, perseverance, grit, and learning from failure.  We've had lots of fun centers.  The students have learned about computer coding, circuit boards, creative thinking, and many different engineering strategies. We have had a blast!
