Our very own 5th grader, Allie Houskeeper, won Second Place at the Central Utah STEM Fair.  The competition is organized by BYU. This year the fair was held virtually.  Allie's project called "The Flower Project" involved keeping flowers alive by adding different substances to water. She recieved a pretty silver medal, $35, certificates, a STEM shirt, and a cool bag! Allie is already thinking of ways to improve "The Flower Project" for next year's fairs! Way to go Allie!

Nebo is partnering with Tabitha’s Way for a new event called Read & Feed.

The purpose of this event is to encourage children to continue to read during the summer and to educate families facing food insecurity regarding food resources available to them and their children while they are not attending school. Our goal is to gather 10,000 gently used books that children can take home with them and keep to read during the summer.
