The Santaquin Elementary reading rodeo was started a few years ago as an incentive to get the students reading over the summer. Our students had to read 60 days this summer to participate in the rodeo. The events in our rodeo are the stick horse race, lassoing a rocking horse, a snake in my boot, panning for gold, the horse shoe competition and the bouncy horse race.
We are so excited about our new school shirts. The PTA has done a great job. Each Friday we wear our school colors to show our school pride and spirit. If you would like to order a shirt, please use the link below.
Howdy Partner - it is time to hand in your reading rodeo papers. Please have them to your teacher by FRIDAY! If you do not have a paper but you did read in the summer, have a parent sign a note saying you did your reading this summer! Here is a link to the reading rodeo paper if you would like to fill it out.
