UTIPS Login
To access the General UTIPS practice tests:
I. Go to the Utah County UTIPS Home Page at www.ucutips.org.
II. You will see icons of four colored file folders, each with a content area designation.
III. Click on the folder for which you would like your student to take a practice test (mathematics, science, or language arts). It is worth noting that 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students take end-of-level tests in mathematics and language arts only, while 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students take test in mathematics, language arts, and science.
IV. Select the grade level for your student, and it will open the folder to provide further options. Continue selecting from among the options until you find a test you would like to try.
V. The login screen will appear.Follow the login procedure. Select district (Nebo), school (Santaquin), teacher, class (0_grade), and student name. (Your child’s teacher may give you a list of suggested tests, and may ask you to log in and submit the data. The teacher will give you further information about this, if this is the case.)
VI. Each answer will be immediately marked as correct or incorrect. If the answer is incorrect, a student is given additional chances to get the correct answer, so that this might be a learning experience. The wrong answer will still be reflected in the score, as seen at the top of each test question.
VII. At the conclusion of the test, click on the “Submit” button, and the test will be automatically scored for you.
