Students and guests particpated in a patriotic program learning the history of Veterans Day, and celebrating Veterans. We had many Veterans who joined our program and were honored by being escorted by a student relative down a corridor of Cub Scouts from our school. Over 30 of our own scouts were standing in uniform showing respect for the Veterans. Each of the Veterans stood as their branch of the military was announced and all the students in the school sang the song, "Thank You Military" and "I'm Proud To Be An American". Throughout the rest of the day, you could hear children singing patriotic songs as you walked through the halls. Each class in the school was also visited by a Veteran who talked about their service for our country. From Santaquin Elementary, we would like to say THANK YOU to our Veterans!
