 Calling All Bookworms!

Your students should have brought home a Summer Bookworm chart to help them find fun ways to read this summer.  If they read for 20 minutes while doing one of the bookworm activities, they can color in the square for that activity.  Once the bookworm is all filled up, they can bring it to the Santaquin Elementary Library at the school for some great prizes and pick up a new Bookworm with new activities!  This is a great way to help your students continue to be excited about reading.

The school library will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM.  Please come often to check out books!

Additionally, the Santaquin City Library will be open during the summer.  Their summer reading program kicks of on Tuesday, June 4th from 3:00 - 6:00 PM.  Additionally, did you know you can use your Santaquin City library card to check out books at Payson City Library?!  Payson's summer reading program begins May 28th.  Students may sign up for both programs and have twice as many opportunities for prizes! We know there are many fun plans for the summer, but reading just 20 minutes a day will help your student maintain the progress they've made throughout the school year.  Please encourage your children to become bookworms this summer - students who love reading and spend time in great books!

Have a great and safe summer and happy reading!
