First graders have been learning about communities, community helpers, and maps. They got to create a 3D map of their own community, selecting important buildings and landmarks they wanted in their towns. Swipe for more pictures! Visit our Facebook page for even MORE pictures!

How Teachers Spend Their Saturdays

Submitted by shawnee.mcmullin on
Have you ever wondered what teachers do on Saturdays?  Well, last Saturday, Mrs. Harward, Ms. Call, and Mrs. Rindy spent the day at EdCamp!  They gathered with teachers from all over the Wasatch Front to share ideas on how to better use technology with their students.  They learned a lot and even won a few prizes! Our staff at Santaquin Elementary are constantly looking for new things to learn that will benefit the amazing students we have here. And it's always worth it - even if we have to give up a Saturday.   #SantaquinElementary #NeboSchoolDistrict

Today, in front of many eager guests, our principal Mr. Richins performed a marriage. The marriage, that will forever be remembered in the hearts of every kindergartener in attendance, was that of the letters Q and U. Our staff works hard to make learning a joyous and memorable experience. Thank you Mr. Richins for performing such an important ceremony for our young readers!
