Ms. Camper's class enjoyed a fun review lesson today. They had 45 minutes to unlock their box as a group. The students sorted nouns, verbs, adjectives, and pronouns to figure out the answer to the number lock. To find the answer to the directional lock the students had to put the place value houses in order from greatest to the least. The students were able to solve the word lock by completing two and three-digit addition and subtraction problems. Then they used a cipher wheel to determine the correct letter for each problem. One of the trickiest clues they had to find was hidden around the room. The students had to solve a problem and use that clue to find the hidden key. The class enjoyed solving tricky problems and working well together. All groups were able to unlock their box with 47 seconds left. It was an awesome day!
