Faberge Eggs

Before Easter, the art teacher, Mrs. Laursen, taught the students about Peter Carl Fabergé, a Russian jeweler best known for his Fabergé eggs.  Each student had an opportunity to make a unique Fabergé egg that fit his/her personality.  The eggs are currently displayed by the lunch room.

The 5th grade students gathered in the gym to test their knowledge against Mr. Goudy, Mr. Ekker, Mr. Argyle, and Officer Woodland.  Of course the teachers won.  A few minute-to-win-it games were played following the questions.

The 3rd grade boarded the buses first thing Thursday morning.  They sang and talked on the bus and soon arrived at PHS.  Each child had the opportunity to test their skill at running, throwing, or jumping. 

2nd Grade Picnic

The 2nd grade took a field trip to the fire station where they learned about the responsibilities of firefighters and how the serve our community.

After, they walked to the park and enjoyed a picnic lunch.
