Congratulations to all of the Kindergarten students.
It's OK to Tell
On Wednesday, May 20, the students attended an Internet Safety assembly. They learned important guidelines when surfing the "net", Facebooking, or texting.
Ask your child what they remember about Meet-Me Mack, Potty-Mouth Pete, Look-at-Dis Louie, and Wanta-Know Wally. Then go to www.netsmartzkids.org to play games, find activities, and learn more about Internet Safety.
Firestation
Second grade visits the firestation.
Box Top Reward
The PTA challenged the students to earn $2,200 with Box Tops with a reward of duct taping Mr. Argyle to the wall! The challenge was finally met around May 19, and on May 20, Mr. Argyle was stuck to the wall.
Thanks to an Amazing PTA
The Santaquin PTA has done an amazing job this year with the carnival, parents and pastries, door decorations, hall decorations, teacher appreciation week, helping the children come and go to school safely, preparing dinners for the teachers during SEP conferences, and the list goes on. Thank you very much for making a difference at our school!

Havoc visits 5th Grade
The 5th grade students were taught the job responsibilities of a K-9 dog. K-9 dogs are used to help officers search for drugs, bombs, or to help keep people away from officers so they don't get hurt. The students also got to see the SWAT van.
Thanks to the officers and Havoc, the K-9 dog, for coming to Santaquin Elementary.
