Students from Santaquin 6th grade were able to travel "to new frontiers" as part of their space center experience on Thursday, April 25.
The new Discovery Space Center had a blow up dome planetarium for the students to do some star-gazing without having to stay up all night.
A lesson was given to the students on light, sound, and outer space.
The highlight of the experience was the chance to have a "simulated" flight experience and learn the value of team work.
Because of a few glitches on the field trip for one of the groups, the entire 6th grade has been invited to bring their entire family to a Monday Night star show at the Discovery Space Center in Pleasant Grove FREE of charge!
